Aw, thank you so very much. I'm really glad the differences between these people came through, because that was really the fun and the challenge of writing this fic. I had to give Tony a bit of closure too, exactly for that very reason. He's been through so much bad stuff - and damn, he's deserved a lot of it - but yes, he should have some good things too.
As for Tonys not talking much, I agree, they haven't. It's part of my view of Tony that he doesn't actually like himself all that much, bravado to the contrary (perhaps more true of MCU version) - and most people find it very hard to tolerate their own flaws in other people. So I imagine that 616!Tony, being sober and wiser etc. would find it hard to talk sensibly with MCU!Tony.
