RBB officially over! With cheers and a round-up :) PARTY NOW!
Hey everyone!
The Cap-Ironman Reverse Bang is officially over! Congratulations to everyone who finished - well done! Thanks to everyone who participated in whatever capacity. Not just the amazing artists and authors, but the betas, the commenters, the cheerers, the friends who listened to late-night rambling about stories what wouldn't go where they were supposed to and lines that were always wonky and that background that just didn't work.
Here's a bit of fun about the RBB, just to show how fabulous you all are:
In the course of the RBB you all posted:
70 individual posts to the community
containing
102 individual pages of art by my best count (and more if you count each frame in a page as a piece - which I almost did)
Some artists created 5 or 6 pieces per RBB entry - and some artists had up to 4 individual entries in the claims, meaning that the busiest artist had 7 entries in this fest. I am in awe!
1,133,550 words which means an average of ~16,200 words.
Several of you wrote more than 30k fic, a handful over 40k and two people wrote over 60k! You guys, if this is how you do RBB's, I'm almost scared for the BB! (And by scared I mean super excited and psyched! :D ) How do you do that in such a short time? (Send any tips in a PM ;) )
From the modly side of things, it's been a blast. Or maybe a whirlwind :) Rarely time to breathe, but amazing nonetheless. Thank you all of you for the ride. If we have a few more grey hairs there are no regrets! :D
See you in the Big Bang! (And the RBB will return next year.)
PARTY IN THE COMMENTS!
-The mods
P.S. The fest email account is of course still open if you have any questions etc. We have a few entries that are unfinished, and expect a couple more late entries over the next while. So while this is the official end of the fest, posting things that were created with the RBB in mind is of course more than welcome!
Important ETA:
vail_kagami was left without fic due to some very, very unfortunate circumstances. Go give their art some extra love, drop a comment!fic - or even add some new material to the RBB by writing something more for the amazing artist. It's such a lovely piece too, you can find it here at the comm.

I don't write in or contribute actively to fandom any more, so I try to pay my way with positive feedback and appreciation, and thanks when I have the opportunity.
So - to you all - THANK YOU!
Everything you do is appreciated.
