If you are reading about Loki in Young Avengers, definitely see if you can get your hands on the Journey into Mysteries comics to read. It will give you a lot of insight into who he is and what's going on in his mind when he shows up Young Avengers. Young Avengers is actually on my to read list after I finish up my exchange fic. :)
