OK, I've been slowly working my way sequentially through the Cap_Ironman Christmas Exchange, and so far this story is the best I've read. I adore the recurrent themes of sky, stars, and seasons, as well as "the first time...". It makes the story a cohesive whole rather than a set of one-shots, and makes it all the more memorable. It's not 'over-the-top' or angsty melodrama, but rather the slow, believable development of friendship into love. Thank you for penning such a marvelous tale!
