I'd like a fic with Tony as an empath, where he feels the emotions of people around him. He's kept it secret from everyone, but he's always felt exactly how disappointed his father was with him. Over the years, he becomes focused on the negative emotions because they always feel stronger. It's hard for him to pick out the more positive emotions. He can feel that Pepper really does love him, but the worry and headache he gives her comes through stronger and he eventually breaks it off so that she isn't tied up in that mangle of emotions forever.

Then Steve comes along. Tony can feel Steve's anger and resentment, even some of that ever familiar disappointment, but slowly that changes and Tony doesn't know what to make of that, or how quickly he's falling for Steve. When they start having sex, after the fourth or fifth time, Steve drives Tony to completely loosing his self control and he starts projecting his feelings during the sex, made sharper by the close contact. Steve, thinking this is the most fantastic feeling, keeps going and Tony doesn't even realize he's doing it.

After, Steve asks him about it, half awed and Tony closes up and gets defense. H/C and a happy ending please.
