heehee.. I've said as much about continuity in an author's note of mine for a fic you may or may not see;

"They find Steve, but he is starting with the man from scratch- although Peter does help smooth things over. This is gonna take awhile goddamit- why can't my bunnies stay short and sweet!~ and uncomplicated ugh continuity- why must we share such mutual hatred for one another! sleep again? Gosh darnit. Don't think there are any additionals not in the outline close your eyes and start again tomorrow it is late and your internet isn't working for fact checking."

The bad part is I never did the fact checking and or finished the story.
