Fantastic movie - arguably the best in the MCU so far, although it left me sad and I prefer the happy, uplifted feeling I had at the end of The Avengers.

It's the first movie in over a decade I've enjoyed that didn't leave me with a ship; I went into it firmly Steve / Tony, at the end of it, I'm not as far as canon MCU is concerned.

Many will find Steve's letter to Tony at the end hopeful, and I think the creators intend it as a bridge to a reconciliation in Avengers 3, but I found it creepy in a stalky kind of way. The only fic I have in mind at this point is one where Tony gets Steve to accept that Steve's continuing to insist they're friends is inappropriate and stops. YMMV.

Luckily I'm good with the multiverse - I'll continue to enjoy Steve / Tony in 'verses that split off from the MCU before this, and in comics based stories.
