Civil War is so on! This week we got Invincible Iron Man #13 and All-New All-Different Avengers #14. But all titles you want to talk about are welcome, of course, as always!

I AM DYING

Today's Iron Man attacked me personally. I had such high hopes for it and I knew it'd be good, but I could never dream of it being this good. Seriously, every single panel was perfect. Right in the feels, too.

LIKE TO START WITH, DOOM TOOK TONY TO AMARA??? HOW PERFECT IS IT. And talked about how sitting in the ruins of his building was beneath Tony. Oh my god, Doom, it's really cute how you're trying and failing to be comforting xD And Amara ahhhhhhhhhh I love Amara, and I love her scene with Tony even though it hurt.

And oh my god the way she snapped about Rhodey's death and Tony just walked out because it was too much. THIS HURT ME A LOT. BUT IT WAS SO REAL.

AND THEN HIM JUST SITTING AT THE TABLE, SO BROKEN, THINKING ABOUT RHODEY.

HIM NOT GOING TO RHODEY'S FUNERAL BECAUSE HE CAN'T DO IT. HE JUST CAN'T. IT'S TOO MUCH. HIS BEST FRIEND IS DEAD AND TONY CAN'T GO ON.

AND TONY REMEMBERING THE GOOD MOMENTS, AND THE NOT-SO-GOOD MOMENTS WHEN RHODEY WAS STILL THERE FOR HIM OH MY GOD!!! THIS WAS SO PERFECT. AND THE ALCOHOLISM. MY HEART. AND HE SAID HE NEEDED TO GO TO A MEETING. I FUCKING. CAN'T.

AND THEN TONY TRAPPING DOOM. LIKE. WOW. YES. YESSSSS. I CAN'T WAIT FOR WHAT DOOM SAYS I'M WAY TOO INVESTED. (Also, it was hot. Like. Very.)

Why does Bendis keep delivering quality Tony pain? I can't deal with that. Every single Tony moment he writes is perfect. AHHHHHHHHH. I loved it so much.

Oh man, I love Amara but I found her scene with Tony a little cringey. Like, isn't it WAY too early for him to be saying "I love you"? Her response was pretty warranted IMO! Loved the Rhodey and Doom stuff though, and Tony mentioning going to an AA meeting. Still wish Marquez was on this book though. Not sure if it's an unpopular opinion but the art is doing nothing for me right now.
