Normally I wait and post my random panel commentary in batches and in order, but this panel was so WTF? that I have to share right away...

I don't think it's big enough to require an LJ cut, but my computer has weird resolutions compared to others sometimes, so just in case...



I read that panel three times going, "Wait, that is Cap, right? And he did just say bite, right?" *blink blink blink* "Maybe I better look again..."

*grins* It's awesome in it's randomosity! Especially since the set up is one we've see often for Cap. They pin his arms and he says, "Hah! You think I'm helpless?" and then uses his legs to kick them or do some sort of a flip and he's totally awesome. So I read the first panel and was totally expecting that and then I get hit with, "I'll bite though your claw!" *giggling*

My first thought was, "You yellow bastards! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off!"

*bursts out laughing* I totally didn't think of that! But it fits scarily well.

"Tis but a scratch."

"A scratch?!? Your arm's off!"

"No it isn't."

Maybe... maybe he's trying to direct their attention elsewhere while he prepares to kick the crap out of them. D: Maybe.

*laughs* You know, now that I think about it, that entire scene is pretty much the life story of every (ridiculous) Classic Avengers villain out there.
