What's in your journal: Loads of personal stuff, photos, reviews and bits of meta often migrated from LJ. Hoping to increase this in the near future.

What rating is your journal: It varies. Mainly gen to M, but I allow anything in comments.

Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Oh, good lord, hundreds. And I've been an SF fan for a long time. I love photography, and used to breed and show pedigree cats. I read SF and detective fiction, am sort of active in SF fandom, used to ride and follow equestrian sport of all kinds, am interested in film, TV, science (particularly evolutionary biology and space), dogs and agility.

Do you have a DW/LJ friending policy? Yup. "Friend me and I am likely to friend you back if you actually have posts in your journal in a language I can understand. However, most of my posts are public.

There are a couple of exceptions to this. Some very personal posts may be flocked to a particular list of people I know. Posts about fan fiction also have their own custom list. I don't write much fan fiction nowadays*, but you never know, and I do talk about it and rec it. If you want to be on this list, just ask. Its existence is mainly to protect the occasional delicate sensibility and to keep it off search engines.

*But sooner or later there will be a list and links behind a cut in this post."

What you do in fandom: Read, write, watch, contribute meta, occasionally contribute at conventions - though mainly SF conventions.

How long you've been in the Marvel fandom: Well, let's put it like this: I bought Avengers #4 from a newsstand on issue and fell in love with Captain America. I own a Spider-man #1. I and my brother sold our early Silver Age DC to buy Marvel. I've gone cold turkey on comics for up to ten years, and have also read a lot of DC and some indies, but I have rarely totally abandoned Marvel. I fell in love with the MCU with IM1 and came into this fandom when I read Valtyr's lovely "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" and got hooked on Steve/Tony. I have, however, been active as an author and fanzine publisher in media fandom (and that name alone dates me) since 1978.

Favorite Steve/Tony moment: Help! Probably the last page of 'Avengers Prime' (or all of 'Avengers Prime'.)

Favorite Steve/Tony universe: Currently, probably Avengers Assemble.

Rec a fanwork: Fundamental Attribution Error by Atsadi. Utterly brilliant MCU metafiction following CA:CW. WIP. Maybe won't end up Steve/Tony (though one can still hope) but the character analysis is so damn thought provoking. Incredible stuff.

Other fandoms/ships you’re into: The Professionals (Bodie/Doyle), Garrison's Gorillas (Actor/Garrison), Primeval (no ships per se), Blake's Seven (well, I once wrote an Avon/Blake/Cally story), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1st season only, really. Also, Crane and Nelson are almost impossible to ship, though I managed it once.) UFO (Foster/Straker, though they are also almost impossible to ship.) I love Babylon 5 but it's so good there isn't anything for fandom to fix. *sigh*

Anything else you'd like to share: though I have always loved Steve, I'm afraid I am totally Team Tony in CA:CW.
