What's in your journal: Not much, at all. Mostly all my imported LJ posts, most of which are very, very old. Like, seriously old. But I’m too lazy to go through and delete them.


What rating is your journal: I guess the old content is rated M or E, and my tumblr is definitely NSFW.


Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: I’ve gotten into pottery, I like yoga and am trying to get better about regular exercise. I used to knit but my hands decided I was done with that. I have a cat named Pepper Pawtts.

Do you have a DW/LJ friending policy? Probably I’ll friend you if I know who you are, but as always reserve the right to unfriend without explanation or warning.

What you do in fandom (read/write/art/squee etc): I read a lot, I write, and i’m learning to art a little. There may be trace amounts of squeeing.

How long you've been in the Marvel fandom: About a year or so? I read my first Marvel fics around Christmas 2015, and fell headfirst into fandom.

Favorite Steve/Tony moment: The bed-sharing/nookie at the Barton farm in Age of Ultron. Oh, wait, that didn’t… um… ok, how about the way they went at it on the floor of the board room in Civil… not that either? Damn. Ok, fine. Steve’s blinding smile when he realized Tony was alive at the end of Avengers.

Favorite Steve/Tony universe: I’m an MCU girl through and through because comic book formats just aren’t my thing. That said, I’m not opposed to reading the other universes as long as context gives me an idea of what’s happening.

Rec a Fanwork: oh my GOD. Almost impossible to choose, but it’s front of mind right now due to reasons, so I’ll recommend Deep in the Heart of Me by Finely Honed because I can read it over and over again. Oh, also Puzzle Pieces, the amazing series by sara_holmes. It’s perfect.

Other fandoms/ships you’re into: I’m happy to read Phil/Clint, Clint/Bucky, Sam/Bucky, and I have a strong emotional reaction to Steve/Tony/Bucky poly. I’ll read almost anything if it’s well-written. I used to be in the Buffy & Angel fandoms back in the day, and I was a Spike/Xander shipper and a Wes/Angel shipper, and I still am a Wes/Angel shipper because they are true love forever. FOREVER.

Exciting fandom plans/What are you working on next? I’m currently whipping my BB into submission while making motions toward participating in the Tiny Reverse Bang and aggressively ignoring Bingo.

I mean, TECHNICALLY, it's going okay right now. I stalled out for a few weeks, and now I don't have a lot of writing time, but I expect it to pick up pretty quickly. My ideal is to get it done by the end of June because then I have another project to do right away. haha.

Huh, I thought you've been in fandom longer than that! That Avengers moment was too good ;_; his face was so bright.

ALSO, I LOVE PUZZLE PIECES. It's my favorite kidfic in the entire fandom. Arto is probably the OC I've gotten most attached to out of all the S/T I've read. And good luck with your BB, of course!

OMG agreed to the Arto love, I just... ugh. And yeah, it's my favourite kidfic too for a couple reasons – he's NOT the most adorable anime eyes kid in the world, and as a child-free person I kind of love that. He has problems, and they're dealt with SO realistically. Also, the part where Tony's the one who takes to parenthood so easily and Steve's the one who rejects it... it turns the trope on its head and I love that too.

Shit, now I gotta read that again. What a HARDSHIP.

That's exactly what gets me about Arto, too. I mean, okay, if you really want just the cute kid that facilitates the Steve/Tony that's totally fine, but it is so rewarding seeing them bond together and actually become a family despite all the issues. And OH MAN, other than Arto, I have to say my favorite part of that entire verse fic is Tony! I really, really enjoy how he's written, and how when he has people to depend on him he completely steps up. He's an absolute breath of fresh air to read <3

hahaha, have fun! I can't bring myself to reread Counterpart because it's a bit too stressful for me even though I know there's a happy ending. I enjoy rereading the sweet, fluffy side stories when I need to revisit the verse <3

Aww, thank you!! I'm glad I could entertain you at the airport, and I LOVE hearing about re-reads. That fic was a bit of a mess, and then a friend helped me rewrite it so it could be not-crap, and now it's one of the fics I wound up being prouder of, so I'm happy to hear you say that! <3

We all know that wasn't their first time, either. They just thought they'd been over, but if they balked about sharing a bed everyone would know they had issues with it and want to know why... better to just share. And being that close together... god, how could they not rekindle the romance?

Hi! This is the beauty of friending memes - getting to know each other!

The art attempt is a new thing for me, I'm a little terrified but I managed to put something together. And then decided, well, that many hours of my life can't go to waste, I'm submitting it! Turns out refusal to waste effort is all the drive I need.

But anyway, yay for yoga loving MCU fans!! :D too bad about the dog thing though. ;)
