Okay, I was going to write a nice reply to this and then forgot everything I was going to say because of that panel. OH MY GOD, TONY! I can't stop laughing. I love old comics.

Good luck with your Big Bang! I find it so impressive when non-native English speakers write fics (do I know other languages? Yes. Can I write stories in them? I'm not sure)...and a Big Bang! That's a lot of words! Also, please don't be shy about your language skills because they're perfect, but even if they weren't, again, that just means that you know more than one language which is more than what a lot of people can say about themselves AND again, you write fics.

"I'm really into international politics and political theory." So I guess you had a lot of thoughts on CA:CW, huh? :P

I'm super excited (SCARED) about BB because it's a challenge I've always wanted to face and now I'm doing it and it feels too real. I'll probably need a very patient beta, tho, there are some issues I have when it comes to English grammar that make me a tiny bit (hah) anxious. And don't worry, I know French too but I'm so ???? at it I wouldn't even write a grocery list in it!

And geez, you have no idea. Let's just say we got into a VERY heated debate at the faculty: if we latch on to international relations theories that focus on international security and cooperation, Steve's viewpoint about the accords loses a lot of strenght because it seems arrogant and puts the USA in a position that doesn't allow him to be a proper player at the international stage: Steve'd get the USA on a very difficult position. Here in South America, our way of doing international relations focus a lot on cooperation and on integratio and we focus a lot on being independent and recovering our agency from big international powers and that means respecting the choices of smaller states and allowing them their vote (and hey, the UN is not a flawless organisation, so it's also okay to be suspicious of the accords too!)
