The Cap-IronMan Friending Meme!
Finally we're having our first ever friending meme for all community members, old and new! Whether this is your first time on Dreamwidth or you want to infuse your friends list with some new Steve/Tony squee, we hope you'll have fun!
Say hi, make new friends, and share your love for Steve/Tony with other shippers!

Of course the same rules as in the rest of the comm apply here as well ;)
Here is a template for your use:
Copy and paste the template above into the comments and fill your information in. Then comment on other people’s threads to make their acquaintance!
You can answer as many of the questions as you’d like. Feel free to add additional points to your entry as well!
If you’d like to plug this in your journal, you can copy and paste the following code:
And most importantly, HAVE FUN! ♥

Timezone: US Central
What's in your journal: dozens of broken links to old fanart; archival fics and collab records; nonsense, blogging
What rating is your journal: adult, but not that racy these days
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: quilting, fiber arts, being on boards of nonprofit organizations, writing, tarot, painting, drawing
Do you have a DW/LJ friending policy? open door policy, unless you're only selling something
What you do in fandom (read/write/art/squee etc): these days mostly squee and read. occasional arts, considering writing.
How long you've been in the Marvel fandom: active fandom participation since the MCU, basically; but been reading comics for decades.
Favorite Steve/Tony moment: Avengers Prime
Favorite Steve/Tony universe: selective memory of MCU; old school 616; it's hard to find a universe I don't enjoy.
Rec a Fanwork: I just reread Like a Comet Streaming On by Sineala for probably the 20th time.
Other fandoms/ships you’re into: Harry Potter; BBC Merlin; Avatar: The Last Airbender; Star Wars; occasional others
Exciting fandom plans/What are you working on next? fandom-themed apparel and bags; fandom quilts
Anything else you'd like to share (gif, pic, squee?): I carry action figures around with me, because you never know when it may be necessary for Action Figure Theater to occur:
Steve is disappointed in Tony's life choices. Again.

I love that you carry the figures with you, that's great!

Here's a picture of mine with my Capwolf TPB and also a picture with my dog.

I tend to stick to the smaller 4" figures (easier to carry, compatible with my 80s GIJoes) but I may have to explore those larger ones someday. :)

Action figure theater opportunities! A very good point! We should all start carrying figures with us!

I'd like to make more hobbies into jobs that pay money - the sewing is a small start, I wonder if Action Figure Theater is terribly lucrative? Maybe that could be a reward level on my Patreon: custom Action Figure Theater. LOL.
What sort of crafting do you do?
no subject
Good luck with that! XD
All kinds. My family always did crafts and I grew into it - from paper craft to all kinds of handiwork. I sew some of my clothes and things for the household. I used to Cosplay and loved things like building props from all kind sof materials and right now I'm getting back into working with paper mache and polyemer. (I started with pottery and play dough pictures when I was a little kid and watched my mum make the most amazing things. It's very relaxing for me to go back to it once in a while.)
