To those of you who celebrate it, we hope you're having a great Fourth of July weekend (or thinking about how to celebrate Steve's birthday coming up)! Has anybody been watching the newest season of Avengers Assemble? What are your thoughts?

And on a more community-related note, writers: we hope you're excited about the Tiny Reverse Bang and all the amazing artwork that'll be unveiled over the next few months! Got any more writing plans? And to everyone, the Annual Rec Week information has been posted earlier in the week. Don't forget to start putting together your rec lists! I'm leaving for Vanderbilt on Thursday to take a summer program in nanomaterials and I'm not coming back for three whole weeks I am kinda nervous. But at the same time I feel a little bit like Tony Stark so that's a plus.

I'm trying to write the band AU but it's going slowly. Writing comes in waves for me and unfortunately I am hitting a low point. I dunno how long it'll take for me to get out. :/

I am super excited for Spiderman Homecoming and Black Panther, too!!!!

I feel a bit bad because I can't work on what I promised I would nor can I comment on what I want to, but I just don't have the time right now. Real life! And no, I haven't even watched AA S4. Well, just the start, so I was mourning Tony's voice actor change, but I couldn't finish watching.

I have all the writing and reading plans but no time. Also, July! I need to work on a comic, ahhh. And I still don't know if I'll manage to make a gifset for Steve's birthday. Sorry, Steve. :')

So I've been thinking about a super angsty, messed up, Steve/Tony Evangelion au. I've got a few vague ideas about how Steve and Tony would fit in, but it's not really something I'd want to write alone. I've never co-written something before, but I've always wanted to give it a try. Would anyone be interested in doing that at some point in the future?

I just finished my thesis. I have to take it for printing and binding on Tuesday, but Jesus H Christ, the beast is slain.

...and now I can start being unemployed. Hooray.

I just finished watching Leverage and I'm sad it's over... It was such a fun show. (Eliot/Hardison/Parker were my faves I miss them already :c )

Of course now I'm wondering if anyone's done an Avengers Leverage AU so I guess I'll have to go look for that lmao

I...am getting ready for a con! It's good and bad for me. Good because yay con time! Cosplay and fellow fans and vacation. Bad because well. Moneys is bad right now. *sigh*

I did get a new build a bear this week, but not an Avenger's one.

And I traded in some books for other books so that's good.

And I'm still lost in the 00Q fandom. I am however trying to get started on my Marvel big bang fic.

Oh yay thesis. My girlfriend did the whole thesis-crunch and then job search last year, and both parts were rough. That means you have one part done! Don't let the unemployment thing overshadow the whole 'finished a document of important scholarly work' thing. It's a big deal.

I hope the job search goes smoothly, too. Job searches suck.

This week was crazy- I had a huge deadline at work for this project I've been giving my life to for the last year and managed to make it by the skin of my teeth. There is still a lot to do with it, but thinking about the project is making me less nauseous than it did a week ago.

Also I'm using Spiderman:Homecoming as an excuse to rewatch all the Iron Man movies and just finished Iron Man 3 right now. I've only seen it on a plane, and that was more than a year ago. After a year of obsession, I just kept muttering 'oh Tony' the entire movie

CONGRATS ON MAKING THE DEADLINE! That's so impressive and you did it -even if there's still a bit left to do, you've gotten through the worst of it? :)

Re-watching all the Iron Man movies sounds like a great plan eheh.

It is a huge weight off, especially after I procrastinated for so long. I had six months and effectively only wrote for two of those. I wish I'd have had the same dedication to the thesis that I have for fic writing.

Thanks, I try to remember that! It's sometimes hard to see the accomplishment in academia when you're getting rejected for jobs left and right (and my 'favourite' is being rejected with high praise for my academic record)

I can't believe it took me this long to check it out because it was exactly my kind of show haha. I loved how even though they all had sad backstories and stuff it was still optimistic and everyone supported and loved each other. ;3;

I haven't had time to look for fic yet but there's gotta be at least one out there somewhere.... I'll find it!!
