2018 STONY Fairy Tale Bingo
Join us for the first of our nostalgia challenges!
Remember the Arthurian Avengers? Tony jousting with Cap's shield? Steve as a knight-in-shining-armor on horseback? If you love seeing Steve and Tony in fantastical situations, we hope you join us for our Steve/Tony Fairy Tale Bingo, in honor of the community's first Fairy Tale Challenge event in 2008! Our 2018 Fairy Tale Challenge has been reimagined as a Bingo and all prompts are taken from the first event's list of suggested fairy tales.
All mediums are welcome and there are no minimum requirements! Rules and guidelines for the Fairy Tale Bingo Challenge, as well as all other anniversary-related events, can be found here:

THE GOAL
Fill prompts to complete a line (row, column, or diagonal). Feeling adventurous? Try for a blackout and fill every prompt on your card!
All works should be new and created solely created for the Bingo card, and not for any other fandom event. Exception: While this is a separate event from our main STONY Bingo, fills can qualify for both bingo cards if it follows the original bingo rules and fill prompts on both boards. Please check the main STONY Bingo challenge for its requirements.
RECEIVING YOUR CARD
To receive your STONY Fairy Tale Bingo card, leave a comment requesting a card and we'll respond with your bingo card!
It may take mods a day or two to respond, but we will get back to you as fast as we can! If you're unable to view or access your card after commenting, please contact us at cap.im.events@gmail.com and we'll email you your card directly. After receiving your card, please save it to your hard drive because online hosted pictures can become unavailable at any time.
To allow people without Dreamwidth accounts to request cards, anonymous comments are enabled. If you comment anonymously, please leave your name to identify yourself (and make it easier to keep track of cards), and check back here to find your card.
CARDS AND PROMPTS
How you interpret the prompt is entirely up to you! You can follow the original story act-by-act, or take as few elements from it as you'd like (as long as the original inspiration is evident).
The five free spaces mean you can write a fill for any fairy tale of your choice that isn't already on the board. (You may, however, include elements from stories listed on your card as long as your 'main' prompt is a different story.) Legends, fables, folklore, epics, myths and similar types of stories can be prompts for free spaces. Filling all 5 free spaces will count as completing a bingo line!
POSTING FILLS
Fills can be posted wherever you like, but must be tagged with something like bingo, cap-ironman bingo fill, or have a note that indicates it is a prompt fill for this challenge. We encourage (but do not require) you to:
One fill may only count for one space. If you create a work that's a hybrid of multiple stories, please pick one story/space for it to count towards as the 'main' prompt.
COMPLETING YOUR CARD
Once you've completed your bingo line or card, please go to our Badge Claim post and leave a new comment with:
You're more than welcome to create a round-up of all your fills on your journal, blog, or right oncap_ironman! You may request a second card once you have completed a line on your first card.
The STONY Fairy Tale Bingo will end on March 31*!
* The deadline for the Bingo fills has been extended from March 17 to March 31! If you'd like to join, however, you must request a card below by the 17th.
