Best of Steve/Tony (2008-2018) Results
Thank you to everyone who has nominated and voted for their favorite Steve/Tony moments! And now for the results of the polls, here are the winning moments in the Best of Steve/Tony, 2008-2018!
Best in Comics: “He loved you.” — Civil War II: The Oath

“I know every thought he had about you, for instance. He loved you. He loved you, and he admired you. Even when you fought.”
It was a close race in the comics category, but angst has ultimately won over fluff with Civil War II: The Oath in first place! We’d like to give an honorable mention to the runner up: the reconciliation and hug in Avengers Prime #5: “I’m not half as good at anything as I am when I’m doing it next to you.”
Best in Cinema: “I will miss you.” — Avengers: Age of Ultron

“I will miss you, Tony.”
“Yeah?”
We weren’t sure how things would turn out in the cinema category, but the goodbye scene at the compound in Avengers: Age of Ultron took the lead as everyone’s favorite MCU moment!
Best in Animation: The Lift and Spin Reunion — Avengers Assemble (4.17): Beyond

“Well, I guess we should—”
“I don’t believe it!”
“Woah, okay. All right. All right.”
“Iron Man in the flesh!”
It was an easy win in the animated category — forty percent of you decided that the already iconic Lift and Spin hug in Avengers Assemble (4.17): Beyond was your favorite moment! Congratulations to the happily reunited Superhusbands!
Best in Gaming: “[I’m] lucky to have [you] around.” — Avengers Academy: Armor Wars Event

“All that matters is that I’m perfect, and you’re lucky to have me around.”
“I don’t know if I agree with the first part, but I guess I can agree with the second.”
Last but not least in the gaming category, Iron Captain America from Avengers Academy’s Armor Wars Event took the win! Who could resist the combination of playful bantering (flirting), the universal constant of Tony making armor for Steve, and Steve acknowledging how lucky he is to have Tony around?
We hope you had fun voting and reliving your favorite Steve/Tony moments! Want more slashy moments? Check out the Cap-IronMan Slashy Moments List archives, where we’ll continue updating with more comics panels, and over the upcoming months, we’ll introduce slashy scenes from across the multiverse to the archives. We’re so excited to share even more Steve/Tony moments with the fandom!
