Donate-a-Prompt (May)

Don't we all know this feeling of having too many ideas to write and no time to write them all? Is there this one headcanon that you really want to read but can't write it? Or that frustration when you actually do want to write but you can't come up with anything?
If you have prompts or headcanons that you want to provide for your fellow writers and/or artists, here's the time and place! Anything is welcome, just take note to attach appropriate warnings if applicable.
This post will run all month, so be sure to come back and submit and discuss prompts over the coming weeks! To keep track of all new comments in this post, click the bell at the top of this post.
If you need resources:
- All of the previous Imzy prompts have been archived here
- Here's a handy prompt generator
- There's a sizable amount of AU ideas on
neurotoxia's Tumblr
- Prompts on Writer’s Digest
- Writing Prompts that Don't Suck
- AU Masterlist
- OTP Ideas
- Fanfic Prompt Randomator
Let us know if you have another great resource for prompts not listed here. In case you create something based on these prompts, be sure to link to them here so we can all read them! Or maybe post a short fill directly in the comments!

(Anonymous) 2018-07-11 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)Whereas there's a lot of evidence in both 616 and the MCU that Howard Stark had very rigid ideas about masculinity and was probably homophobic himself. And if Tony was born in the 70's (which he was in the MCU, and could conceivably have been in 616 depending on what timeframe you want you use) that means he was also coming of age in the 80's during the AIDs crisis, which brought its own kind of homophobia.
(I've thought about this a lot and am not writing it myself because I'm not queer and I don't think it's appropriate for me to write about sexuality-based oppression as the focus of a story that way, but if you want to message me about it I'm dirigibleplumbing on tumblr.)
