Never In Time For A Dance (MCU, 970 words) and Chance at Love (MCU, 770 words) by Navaan
Summaries: Steve learns of it from the news. and Tony is dead. And Steve has to go on now in that knowledge, protecting Vision and the Infinity Stone.
Comment: For all your angsty and sad MCU!Steve needs. I really love Navaan's take on him.

Secrets and Surprises by Laireshi (616, 3072 words)
Summary: Tony's preparing for his and Steve's anniversary. The only issue? Steve realises that Tony's hiding something and, given their history, suspects it's something sinister.
Comment: Angst through well done misunderstandings and unintentional hurting each other? Favourite. And I just love how this uses their history.

Uhm ... everything by Sineala? Ha. I'll go for

All Time Low (616, 12060 words)
Summary: Tony's lost his company to Obadiah Stane. He's lost it all: his money, his friends, his Avengers team... and his sobriety. Drunk, homeless, Tony is living on the streets, and when he runs out of liquor money, he sells the only thing he has left: his body. And one day, he has the exact wrong customer.
Comment: Because it really doesn't get much angstier, does it.

and

This Mortal Part of Mine (616, 60255 words)
Summary: Steve hasn't seen Tony since he carried him, blackout drunk, out of the flames of a Bowery flophouse several months ago, and he honestly never expected to see Tony alive again. On his road trip across America, Steve puts out a call for the nearest Avenger -- and he's very surprised when Tony turns up in a brand-new Iron Man suit, ready for action. But their relationship, strained and tense, is about to get even worse. Their foe turns out to be a monster from another dimension, who hurts them in ways they could never have imagined, and the bond between them might not be strong enough to weather the aftermath.
Comment: Because I love that there is So Much Steve Angst in this one. Also, tentacles. Tentacles don't get recced enough.

String Theory (MCU, fanvid, constructed reality)
Summary: Wanda forebodes a catastrophe and changes Reality, separating Steve and Tony. Their past life and a new reality mix and bring them anguish and pain. But love conquers all and blah-blah-blah. And Wanda decides to return everything as it was.... or not, it all depends on your imagination.
Comment: I really like the story idea for this vid and the footage the vidder chose to show the "wrong" lives that Steve and Tony are leading, and how disturbed they are by the flashes of what they were in a different life.

Gasoline by Garrideb (616, fanvid)
Summary: A comics fanvid set during the run on Iron Man when Tony was the Director of SHIELD, had his Extremis powers, and was frequently hallucinating the ghosts of his dead friends.
Comment: The ultimate angsty Tony vid. So much going on.

If Only I Could TheMadMoro (616, fanvid)
Summary: Tony Stark's reaction to death of Captain America.
Comment: Perfect.

Watching You by Firenstone (MCU, fanvid, constructed reality)
Summary: Tony woke up at a strange place, couldn't remember anything. A man appeared in his dream told him to think. So he started to think about the last thing he remembered: he died for saving Steve. And now he's just a program watching Steve through cameras...
Comment: I adore this take on Extremis and AI!Tony and the presumed dead trope. Love the moment of revelation when Steve realizes who has been helping them in the shadows.

And finally, I have to include Ann2who's pre CA:CW Civil War AU No Lights (MCU, fanvid).
Comment: Worth it for the constructed prison scene alone, but I also love the way she constructs the established relationship just to blow it all to hell with the CW plot.
