Cap/Iron Man Remix 2019 works unveiled on 2/19
It is time for Cap/Ironman Remix works to be unveiled! Come and see what all creators came up with and leave them some love.
Remixes will remain anonymous until after everything is revealed, so please refrain from posting or sharing what you created until creator reveals on Sunday, February 24th.
Mind the warnings and content notes on all works!
Today we are revealing the REMIX RELAY — FRUIT CHAIN works!
If you're feeling adventurous, try your hand at guessing who the creators are and which relay work is a remix of which other work in the chain, as we are revealing them out of order — the correct sequence will be announced upon creator reveals.

FRUIT CHAIN
★ Unplanned (The Perfect Moment Remix) (616, T, 542 words)
“Hey, Steve?” Tony’s shoulders are squared and his impossibly blue eyes are determined, but his voice is quiet. Hesitant. “Did you want to ask me something?”

Steve feels like there's something important missing from his life, but he has no idea what it could be.

“JARVIS? Was I in a fight?” he asks, repeating the question once again when no reply comes. What the hell? What happened to his A.I.? He doesn’t care that much about himself – it’s not the first time he’s hangover and of course it’s not going to be the last – but JARVIS is vital to the functioning not only of his suit, but of the whole base too.

“Iron Man.” He looks at the face plate, knows his face must seem somber when the gauntlet slips off his shoulder and into Iron Man’s lap.
“Sorry, sorry. Do go on.” Iron Man insists, tone mellowed down to match Steve’s.
He looks at the face plate for a long moment, takes a few measured breaths. His palms feel wet. “It was a ring box.” Steve finally lets out in one huff, brow going tight and worried. For a second the room is completely and utterly silent. Something coils around his chest and he forces himself to look back into the eye slits of the suit. “With a ring in it.” He continues, rather pointlessly, because Iron Man seems to perfectly understand the seriousness now.
“Sorry, sorry. Do go on.” Iron Man insists, tone mellowed down to match Steve’s.

It was legal, now, and it wasn’t even that controversial. Steve didn’t know what he was waiting for. It wasn’t like Tony would have stopped him, if he wanted to come out. He was sure Tony would love the chance to brag about him.

The day after a battle with a supervillain, Tony wakes up with fuzzy memories, mystery items in his bedroom, and an engagement ring in his closet. He has no idea what's going on and why Steve seems so central to the mystery.
