Announcing the Cap-IronMan Avengers: Endgame Countdown and Spoiler Policy!
The trailers have dropped! Tickets are on sale! So, how about you? Steve/Tony fans, are you excited? Worried? Can't wait for it? Are you desperately trying to finish fanworks before canon gets in the way of your ideas with the Endgame that will spell out the end of this Marvel cinematic era as we know it?
Share your feelings with us and come and join the…

From April 15 to April 24, we will run a 10 day countdown to commemorate MCU's Steve Rogers and Tony Stark! The countdown is open to absolutely everyone in Steve/Tony fandom. Come and share your hopes and fears for the new movie, any Steve/Tony thoughts and desires for the future of the fandom or your favorite moments from the past. You can contribute meta, recs, or newly made fanworks like fanfiction, fanart, gifsets, image edits, videos (and more!)
A final round-up will be compiled after Day 10 to collect all of your posts and fanworks! Expect the round-up on the 26th, which is when other parts of the world will also get to see it. (If you want to put up some more works in time before the round-up you're welcome. We will keep reblogging until the round-up is compiled.)
Let's pour it out for the MCU and celebrate Steve and Tony in style in honor of their MCU finale!
Simply post your contribution to our AO3 collection, our Dreamwidth community using the #endgamecountdown tag, or to the Tumblr tag #capimendgamecountdown (needs to be among the first 5 tags!) between April 15 and April 24. Be sure to mention somewhere in the post or on the work how many days there are left until Avengers: Endgame's world premiere on the 24th. We will reblog anything in the Tumblr tag to our main community blog during the period.
Fanworks and fanworks recced must
There are no minimum or format requirements. Works can look to the past—your favorite moments, your headcanons, what made you love MCU Steve/Tony—or to the future—with speculative works, what you think will happen in Endgame, work set in a future canon—or whatever you're inspired to do!
There's no need to sign-up in advance! But that being said...
We're looking for at least one post to share with the fandom during our countdown. This includes anything from fanfiction, fanart, gifsets, image edits, videos, and whatever you think would be a fitting tribute in honor of Avengers: Endgame. If you think you can promise us a post on any date from April 15 to April 24, please drop us an email at cap.im.events@gmail.com with a short line about what type of fanwork you plan to post and what date you want to volunteer for, so we can make sure something is posted each day.
Remember: The first screenings will start on April 24, and some of us will have to wait until April 26 or after. In light of that and knowing that not everyone will be able to see Avengers: Endgame as soon as it hits theaters, we will put up a discussion post on April 24 so that everyone can share any spoilers there.
When posting in the communities, we ask that posters take responsibility for cutting spoilers for Avengers: Endgame until May 24th; please put all spoilers behind a cut with a warning so people know there are spoilers ahead or use blacked out text on any spoilers in summaries, discussion, etc. If you're posting a fanwork that contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame, please clearly indicate this somewhere in your header or description. If you're commenting in a post that does not indicate spoilers, then please also black out your comments appropriately; if the whole post is clearly marked as containing spoilers, however, then the comments are fair game.Further Information on how to post to our communities can be found in our Posting Guidelines.
After May 24th, putting spoilers behind cuts is no longer mandatory, but do please consider that other community members may still not have seen the movie and act accordingly. This community is generally nice about spoilers, so let’s keep up the courteous behavior and not spoil(er) anyone’s fun.
After we've opened our discussion post on April 24, we will invite everyone to play in our special Avengers: Endgame — Prompt Party. For 6 weeks you can leave all the prompts you can think off (whether Endgame left you with a need for porn, fix-its, AUs or simply more) and people can create fanworks to fill them.
Look out for more details when the Prompt Party starts!
