Fic Summary: Steve sits on the exam table, watching the team move around him in varying degrees of concern. Nat is standing by the door in a way that Steve knows is carefully manufactured to look stoic. Clint is pacing, his arms crossed and a furrow on his brow, and Bruce is looking at Doctor Cho intently. As for the three of them that are affected, Steve has already figured what's going on. The fact that they were fighting monkeys had made it a damn sight easier to figure out.
Steve snorts at the irony.
Steve and Tony have led the Avengers through enough storms that they can weather anything together. Except, perhaps, the loss of their senses. It's up to the team to find out a way to cure their leaders of their plight -- and maybe some of that pining along the way.
