Summary: Finished some Tony Stark/Iron Man WIPs I’ve been sitting on. The first one is a prompt I got from festiveferret and long overdue. It’s a depiction of Steve’s art piece from their amazing fic, Dreams of The Future, Memories of the Past.
Comment: I particularly love the first one, because I'm always a sucker for people drawing Steve's paintings of Tony and this one is such a gorgeous and inventive one, really striking.

Comment: I don't even know where to start with this, it's just perfect - the whole concept, the colours, the execution. It just shines.


I also recently went back to Mrsgingles' art because I realized that she did some of my favourite immediately movie-related pieces:

Comment: This is the first one I encountered, right after CA:CW, and it's a lovely movie tag scene, full of angst and heartbreak, but with a little bit of hope for the future mixed in.

Comment: IW tag scene, giving us the reunion we didn't yet get in the movie. Again bittersweet, finding each other beaten and exhausted, but also just lovely, with their closed eyes and holding onto each other.

Summary: reminder that Tony in IM1 was buff af
Comment: Does this need an explanation? No, it doesn't. IM1 Tony looks so damn good and Steve clearly agrees. Including his reaction and Sam's amusement was the icing on the cake.

Comment: This one isn't directly movie-related, but I'm including it because it's such a warm and comforting little scene. (Especially because it was done in the wake of CA:CW as well.)

Comment: This one immediately caught my eye and had me going back to it repeatedly because it's such an unusual style for fanart. I really like the vibrancy, the way it catches them in the middle of the moment, and especially how full of light it is, literally and figuratively.

Turn the Lights On by Shaliara (616, mini-comic)
Summary: Above all things, Tony was grateful he wasn’t alone. [Context is Steve knowing about the mindwipe and Tony sacrificing himself to fix everything (Tony’s way of fix stuff, ofc).]
Comment: A lovely h/c fix-it comic and as always, Shaliara is great at drawing their bodies and conveying their emotions. I also really love all her framing choices.


Fanvids

Since I think I've recced all my favourite Steve/Tony vids before and given the 2012 theme in the background, I'll rec a couple of team vids for MCU and EMH that people might not have seen yet and that naturally have some Steve and Tony moments as well:

Summary: I do believe we're all related now.
Comment: There's no love like crew love, or: all Avengers 2012 footage all the time. Really gives a sense of nostalgia for that first movie, tower as the last shot and all.

Summary: oh man this show is so disco though
Comment: Before watching this vid, I never thought about how many colourful light effects there are in this show, but, yes. Ridiculous and fun.

Summary: FEELS!
Comment: Where the first one has all the action-y fun bits, this one has all the feelings! Protecting and helping each other, hugs and rescues, and a lovely Steve/Tony section in the second half.
