Welcome to a new edition of the Cap-Iron Man Community Newsletter! This month our Big Bang teams will be hard at work on their joint creations, the 2020 Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts event kicks off, and the comm holds its second Stony Trivia Quiz on Discord!

This newsletter gives you an overview of what's been happening at cap_ironman, which upcoming Steve/Tony events to look out for, and a round-up of all the wonderful things that our lovely Steve/Tony creators shared with us since the last newsletter.

• Marvel Holiday Movie Promptfest is running Oct 1, 2020 - Jan 31, 2021.


• Lights on Park Ave Round 14 will run through October. The prompt is "liminality."


• Comfortween is happening this month. Check out the prompts for this low-key fest


• Marvel Trumps Hate charity auction's preview week will begin on Oct. 11, and auction week will then begin at 12 AM ET on Sunday, Oct.18.


• Remix Madness is open until both collections are revealed later in October - this is a multi-fandom remix challenge.


• Consent Issues Exchange is a multifandom exchange for works with a focus on dubious and non-consensual sex. Nominations are open till Oct. 6, signups open Oct. 10.


• Mistletoe Exchange: A Multifandom Shippy Fic & Art Event is opening nominations on Oct. 11!


• Stony's Sad Secret Santa is a fic exchange focussed on dark/angst fics for the Steve/Tony pairing. Sign-ups open now till Oct. 30.

This monthly roundup is for all fanworks people felt like sharing with the cap-ironman Community. To have your Steve/Tony works included in the roundups, you can:

• post or announce your work in one of our community spaces: our Dreamwidth or Livejournal
• post to our Cap-Iron Man Bingo Collection on AO3 or Cap-Iron Man Fanworks Collection on AO3
• leaving a fill in current SteveTony Kink Meme round
• post on Tumblr or Twitter and mention cap_ironman (so that we get a notification).

It’s like the air has been sucked out of the room, and all Tony wants is for that to happen, right now. “Never should’ve encouraged you to talk dirty,” Tony groans. “That’s some kind of punishment alone.”
