Disclaimer: They don't belong to me and I'm not making any money off of them, Marvel is. If they belonged to me, well I would definitely have many characters turned into animals, because it would be mad cute.

Tony woke up and raised his arms above his head, stretching out his back as well as his arms. Well, that was a weird dream, Steve said he was in love with me. It's a shame it was only a dream... Wait, why am I in a lab, that looks identical to the one I- Tony's thoughts were interrupted by Reed when he ran into the room saying, "The transformation back took considerably less time than I had calculated, how do you feel Tony? Can you remember anything about either transformation? It would make for really fascinating research."

"So I wasn't dreaming?" Tony asked, feeling somewhat embarrassed and hopeful at the same time. "No" was the response from someone standing in the doorway. Tony looked over and saw Steve smiling at him, and Reed walked past Steve muttering something about genetic engineering and trans-species modifications that could be made to the machine. Steve walked over to Tony and held out some clothes. "I think you'll need these." It was only then that Tony realized he had nothing on but a blanked covering his lower half. He snatched the clothes and put on the shirt. "How long was I... transformed for?" He asked as he buttoned up his shirt. "About two days" Steve replied, then he turned around giving Tony some privacy to finish getting dressed.

When Tony was done getting dressed, he walked over to Steve and and touched his shoulder. Steve turned around, and Tony thanked him. How do I talk to him about what he said? Tony wondered to himself as Steve started talking about something to do with the team, Tony wasn't really listening, he was preoccupied his thoughts. Well, they do say that actions speak louder than works, and I've always been hands-on, and with that thought stepped closer to Steve and put his and on Steve's cheek.

"Wha-" was all Steve could get out before Tony kissed him. He tastes like mint, was the first thing Tony thought as he slid his tongue into Steve's mouth. After a brief moment Steve snapped out of his shock and started to kiss back. Eventually Tony pulled back for breath, and he was grinning like a maniac. Steve could feel his ears burning, and he knew he was blushing. "Uh... What brought that on? Not that it wasn't nice, because it was! Really nice and-" Tony cut him off with "Did you know that you talk in your sleep? You said something, and I wanted to see if it was true."

Steve looked at him, smirked and said "Curiosity killed the cat." Tony glared at him and said "Satisfaction brought him back, and I can think of some satisfying things we could be doing right now, and it involves your comfortable bed." Steve blushed, then grabbed Tony's hand and started to drag him out the door, saying "Let's see if you still curl up like a cat when you sleep."

Title: Birthday Gifts

AN: Italics indicate thoughts. Constructive criticism welcome. I seem to only be able to write fluff. It's implied connected to Transmogrification but can be read alone. I don't think I will ever let Tony forget he is/was a kitten.

Tony didn't know what to get Steve for his birthday. I could buy him anything in the world, but I doubt he want anything more than he already has. Fuck, I hate buying gifts. Tony had spent hours thinking for a gift for his lover but he still couldn't think of anything. He does like kittens, but I could never get him one, Peter would have a field day. Actually, Steve likes most helpless animals...

Later on, after he had given Steve the golden retriever puppy, he had bought it from one of the worlds best breeders, Tony smiled to himself. Steve had said that he tends to treat animals a lot like children, and had said something else along the lines of "He'll make a great addition to our family, thank you Tony." He then showed Tony his appreciation in the bedroom, and they stayed there for a few hours. I should buy Steve gifts more often Tony thought just before he fell asleep.
