2024 Cap-Iron Man Exchange Gifts unveiled on Jan 3

It’s the tenth day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing gifts created by 2024 Cap-Iron Man Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts event participants. The gifts will remain anonymous until January 7, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the works and guess the identities of creators. (Remember, if you've got a work in the collection, please remain anonymous until after creator reveals!)

Here are today’s gifts!

Tony wakes up in his lab after a long night of work and has a realization.

★ Mr. FixIt for BladeoftheNebula (MCU, 6213 words + art)

While renovating workspace, Tony meets the new IT guy.

Steve is ridiculously hot but he doesn’t recognize Tony as The Tony Stark.

It's refreshing and charming and Tony digs himself a hole by not telling Steve his real name. Then he proceeds to dig himself a bigger hole when he falls for the Hot IT Guy.

★ Old, New, and Wonderful for soliloquent (MCU, 5428 words)

“This is a bad idea.”

Divorced parents Steve and Tony end up spending the days leading up to Christmas together. Will these magic filled moments bring them closer than ever or will new truths be brought to light that could destroy the hard-won friendship they've maintained for the sake of their son?

★ The Stark Christmas Party Planning for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 200 words)

Stark's hosting a Christmas costume party. Clint would be more enthusiastic... if Stark's true motives weren't so obvious.

★ The Straight and Narrow for msermesth (616, 11350 words)

Tony hates being sober only slightly more than he hates himself. Steve hates cheating on his girlfriend only slightly less than he hates being in love with an alcoholic. Alone with two thousand miles of snow and (mostly) empty roads, it's impossible not to talk about it.

★ you’ll be okay, we can talk tomorrow for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 3918 words)

As he leaves, Steve deadpans, “I hate everyone here, and I regret every single thing I’ve done for you all. Tony, do bother coming after me. You’re the first person I’d want around.”

“Yep. Definitely only lies,” Tony says, scrubbing a hand over his eyes.

Steve is hit by a spell that compels him to speak only lies, and to their mutual discomfort, Tony appears to be the key to breaking it.
