This story was a beautiful and touching portrayal of a potential future. I was so sad for Tony, though. You completely broke my heart, to the point that I read the end of it with tears literally rolling down my face. I had to use a handkerchief to soak them up! He's...not alone, not really, not when he has Sharon and Shannon, but there's still this sense that he's spent the majority of his life in mourning, that there's always going to be a shadow over his happiness, even if Shannon makes it grow less and less over time.
