Iron Man: The End

This is my first post to this community which is so full of awesome! Anyway, so as you all probably know, Iron Man: Director of SHIELD is coming to an end. But apparently there is going to be a new Iron Man series/project called Iron Man: The End which is about a 70 year old Tony Stark dealing with aging and possibly the end of his career as Iron Man... Alright I'm no expert on Marvel science but wouldn't the extremis slow down his aging. Or am i just totally off base.

I would think so... but then again it looked like for a while there that they were going to get rid of Extremis... but then yet again...
