FIC: Foundations (1/1) by Nix
Some of you--the folks with particularly good memories!--may remember me talking a fic idea way back when. At the time, I referred to it as tortured!Tony. I sent it out for beta, and then it apparently dropped off the face of the Earth. *g* This is that story. Yup, I finally got off my ass and edited it.
To be perfectly honest, it could probably use a few more rounds with beta readers. But while I don't dislike it (I actually think that the first couple of pages are some of the better hurt/comfort I've written), I was never able to do with the story what I had wanted to do, and at this point I just want to get it off of my mental writing "to do" list. So here we go. I hope you enjoy the story for what it is; you have the advantage of not knowing what it was supposed to be. :-)
