I think it's safe to say that Maria's biologically related to someone in the superhero contingent, but it might not be who you think it is (or it might - there's no knowing at this point!). After all, there are a dozen blue-eyed blonds kicking around the Marvel Universe - several who have worked closely with Tony over the years - and even more if you count the alternate universes!

Maria's background is *definitely* one of the cans of worms that's going to be cracking a seal sometime soon, though - I'll give you that one *G*
