That was a very enjoyable read. It's so easy to make this kind of thing over the top and melodramatic, but this was well done and very true to the characters (which also makes the hints at their attraction to one another feel more jeez. Uhm. ~exciting~ to read). This had a really easy, natural feeling about it. A+~
