From the article and the art I've seen (the artist actually has a Deviantart account where I first saw everything) it seems, I guess, that instead of Steve ending up assassinated, Tony ends up being shot by an angry Cap supporter. I don't know if it's at the trial or if maybe it's somewhere elese?
