/Delurking for a second/ Oh, wow. I'm usually allergic to fluffy stories, but yours is witty and funny, and not oversugared. I would love it even if it was a stand-alone. As a part of your classicverse it's even better. Thanks!
Yay, thanks! Especially if fluff isn't usually up your alley ^_^.
Was Steve's potato peeling technique the international military peeling technique: no matter what shape it was at the beginning, it'll end up as a small cube?
Probably. That, or "hack at it randomly with a knife until all the skin is gone, and bonus points if you can do it in under thirty seconds." He spends a lot of his time undercover as "Private Rogers" (in Golden Age Captain America and Tales of Suspense) pulling punishment duty, because Steve really kind of sucks at following orders.
And the Asgardian mead... mmm. My favourite alcohol. Well, not necessarily Asgardian one, as it's hard to obtain.
It's actually one of my favorites, too (well, in as much as I have favorite kinds of alcohol; more like, it's on the short list of "forms of alcohol that I'm actually willing to drink"). It's also really good for cooking stew with.
Some day I'll gather enough courage to join this community. Really. :->
