2011 Cap-Ironman Secret Santa!
OKAY! Sign-ups for our fic and art exchange are open! Please read the whole post before signing up. We try to make this as user-friendly as possible, so everyone gets prompts they can write. Please let us know if you have any problems at all, so we can try and fix them.
We're making a small change to the rules this year. The rule last year was that you could only have one prompt from each continuity that wasn't 616. So you could have pick "616, 616, 616" or "616, MA, Movieverse" or "Zombies, 1602, House of M-verse." This year, as there is now a movie-verse Cap, the rule is that you can only have one prompt from each continuity that isn't 616 or Movieverse. So you can have all three prompts from movieverse, all three from 616, or a variety of universes - but you can't have three 1602 prompts, or two Zombies prompts. This is to ensure we can match up prompts to artists/authors.

To sign up, email your details in more-or-less the format below the cut to cap.ironman.fic.exchange@googlemail.com by the end of Friday 11th November. You will get a receipt once you have signed up; if you don't receive a receipt within a day or two, PM this LJ account or comment here. Depending on number of signups, and how late they come in, you'll receive your assignments a day or two after the 11th.
You'll list four prompts. Three of those will be given to your gifter. The fourth will go on a prompt list posted to the community, so people who want to take part but can't commit to an exchange, or participants who've finished their gift and want to do more, can pick one from the list. If you complete a gift from the community prompt list, just email as per the submission guidelines and I'll post it as I do the exchange ones.
Then, pick one prompt from the list and write your fic/draw your art, (Fic minimum of 1k, art... medium sized and up?) and submit it to the aforementioned email address in LJ-ready format, complete with header, by the end of Sunday 18th December. Accepted formats: Word, OpenOffice, plain text, or if you work in Gdocs, you can invite the the fic exchange address to view your document. If none of this is convenient, speak up, we can negotiate. Make sure you have put your HTML in! If you need help with HTML, you can email for assistance. If you need help finding a beta, email for assistance. The mods yearn to assist you in all your fanwork-producing methods; only tell us your troubles, and we will do all we can. (If you want to fill more that one of your prompts, that is also peachy!)
Posting format will depend on the number of entries, but the plan is to post them a couple a day to the comm over the holiday period. The mod will post them to the comm, and email the author/artist to let them know their work is up.
Please make sure at least two of your prompts have the option to stay non-explicit, as some authors/artists have trouble drawing/writing explicit sex. Gen/friendship is allowed, but the main focus must be on Steve and Tony and their relationship.
You can specify whether you'd prefer to receive or give fic, art, or either, and we'll do our best to match you up.
Also, we want this to be a fun, low-pressure experience for all participant. If you can't complete your assignment, please don't worry. We understand that especially around the holiday season, life happens. Let us know - an email saying "I'm sorry, but I have to drop out," and we can arrange a pinch hit. If we don't hear from you at all by the deadline, we'll assume you've dropped out, and arrange a pinch-hit. There's no penalty for dropping out.
If you get your prompts and realise you can't write any of them - perhaps you forgot to list your werewolf squick and they're all werewolf prompts, or whatever reason - just email us straight away, and we'll sort it out.

Things you don't want: matchmaking; I want it all Steve and Tony figuring things out, or not.
