Hai -

   I am going to be challenging myself with writing at least 25 alternate Secret Invasion events, each 2-5 paragraphs in length, in the next five days. Though these will be originally constructed, I am formally taking requests for main characters, settings, endings, etc. Want it serious? Funny? terribly written? Like, worse than usual? Modern? Old-school? Real basic stuff here; I'll do the rest. Example: Hank and Jan in the 1980's. Real nonsensical stuff.  I love a challenge and I love writing complete nonsense, so the possibilities are endless.

Have fun. I know I will.

Yeah I was gonna say MA Tony gets swapped with 616 Tony, because Strange was a little distracted by the whole everybody fighting everybody else and got distracted and the universes overlapped. So MA-Tony is all, "What? What's going on? I was on a date with Steve! T_T" And everybody goes O_o Of course he wouldn't have Extremis so the 616-suit won't work. Mmm...

....

And I do mean everyone. Marvel citizens. Dogs. Possibly Tony's armor. The "real versions" stored on that Skrull ship. Maybe some of the cars. And that's okay. (Not "Oh, we're all Skrulls, now we'll all stay Skrullish and the world is ours!", not "Oh, we're all Skrulls, woe, we were living a lie!". "Oh, we're all Skrulls. So... now what? Business as usual?)

In the Savage Lands when Veranke tells Tony he's a Skrull either a)she's not lying, or b) she is but he believes her, your choice(seriously, have I not had enough Tony angst lately?). And either way it's again your choice whether he goes the Khn'nr route or embraces Skrullillity.


Ooh, or for something a bit fluffier, a Lady Liberators piece, sans Sue obviously. Or focussing on how terribly not impressed they are with Skrull!Sue.

It'll be happy and angsty, MA!Tony would be alright, because MA is the magical universe where Steve cannot be unhappy, which he would be without Tony. 616!Tony however, gets to angst even more over all the happier universes out there that didn't happen to him.

Sometimes I wonder if 616 is heading towards permanent retirement. What will fan reaction be if the entire world of 616 is destroyed, and then Marvel says, "Okay, we are going to switch to a different universe now, the What If where Steve and Tony talked". ...Yay, or, "...but that's not our universe!" (the one some people grew up with)

Well. Not the first five minutes (and maybe a little more) after the switch happens. Everybody would be blaming him, he wouldn't understand a thing of what's going on, and STEVE IS DEAD! Tony is gonna be all T_T "Why do you hate me so? Peter, is this because I cheated at Halo 3 last week and killed you while you were getting chips? AND OMG STEVE IS DEAD?! STEEEEEVEEEE!!" T_T And yeah, 616!Tony would probably be wallowing in angst, angst, angst.

IDK really. I wish I could have an inkling of where this is going, but... well, I wouldn't say no to a 616 What if where S&T talked. (And I still think the changing point should have been something Steve had done/not done! All the blame can't be placed on Tony's shoulders! I get that he was up against Captain America, but he went to Steve THREE times asking to talk & Steve attacked him!)

All the way back in Volume One, there were so many opportunity, like, what if Wolverine had been faster, what if the guy who said they should kill the Avengers goes right ahead and kills Drew first?

Then Maria Hill would be like, "This is why you shouldn't have reformed the Avengers", and Steve and Tony would be like, NO U! (http://encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php/NO_U) "She was YOUR agent first!". Then Nick Fury returns, bitchslaps everyone, and things return to pre disassembled normal in that they are able to deal with the Skrulls like Any Other Big Bad, and then everyone goes for ice cream, except for Hill because she has sand in her apple pie over not getting to shoot at someone for opposing an legislative bill that has yet to pass.
