I do like the look that he's rocked from 2003 to now though - shorter hair since it tends to spring into curls and corkscrews when longer (see him circa mid 90s and the Trevor Fitzroy hair), I also like the van dyke facial scaping, because it takes a certain sort of man to carry that off without it looking like a ponce

I have a certain fondness for the godawful perm era, too -- one of the occasional character descruption argument I get into with seanchai is that I think of Tony with naturally wavy hair and she think of him as straight-haired. We agree on the cheekbones, though. The cheekbones are key. Also the ridiculously long eyelashes.
And his volume 3 ribbed sweaters are love (Steve, I think, may wear brightly colored red & green Christmas sweaters in the winter, much to Tony's consternation - not that a man who's worn pink "Superstar" tracksuits and purple ascots has any room to criticize).
