This sounds like the kind of thing that would also be useful to have on the wiki. Or maybe put the random fact list and links to WWII resources pages on a "resources for writers" (or something similar) page on the wiki and then link to that from the journal.

Just brainstorming ideas on how to best concentrate information. :-)
