Hello chaps. Just thought I'd bring you from art from ponderosa21. She used to be on LJ but left during the TOS kerfuffle, so she has her own domain now. Luckily for us, she's stumbled into the world of Stark/Rogers. Can you please go to her website and give her some love? She's given me permission to post her art. Nice lass.













Her work is protected by the creative commons licence. Not that I'd take credit for her work (I uhhh... used to go to art school, so I play nice). I'm impressed, she's really improved over the three years I've known of her and her work. Encourage her to do more.

Ponderosa is just amazing.
She usd to be on my F'list way back before LJ cracked down on Snarry, And god I loved her stuff.

But I was never enough into Snarry to follow anyone to IJ I do the Snarry_games but mostly for the challenge of working my brain around the ship *L*), though she's on a my "artist to poke" bookmark list =P

Heh. I just stumbled across it, the other day and I was like, "I know that style? Kinda stylised, with the colours and shading, is that... Pondy?"

She's still cool though. Am glad to see.

But she's improved massively. I'm dead impressed. Her colours are so much more dramatic yet subtle, and her figures have a bit more weight to them. Her lines are a LOT more confident (she used to use colour to try and hand wave stuff), but she's like, head and shoulders from what I remembered her art back all those years ago.

She makes me wish that I'd continued drawing.

*nods* I've been following her art for, like, seven years, back from my days of lurking in Gundam Wing fandoms and stalking her lj for the occasional piece of Remus/Sirius art, and it's really amazing how much she's improved over the years, especially considering that she was a pretty decent artist to start with. I particularly love the new 'painting' style coloring she's doing now. And also that she's once again drawing one of my OTPs! Yay!

I mostly hung out on the Wolfstar thread at FictionAlley's message boards - I kind of left the fandom after OotP. I went by the exact same name, and most of my HP fic is still up on my ff.net account, so the sins of my first efforts at fanfic (songfic, referring to people's eyes as "orbs," female OCs related to canon characters, etc.) are still available for all to see and mock.

I know! *grins* I was filled with this great and shiney joy when I saw the thumbnail (Me: "OMG, is that Dr. Midnight?!? Someone is doing JSA art, yay!") only to realize that it was Watchmen art. And thus the internet continues to disappoint me by not providing me with Dr. Midnight/Mr. Terrific pr0n.

It was still hot, though, and your fic almost succeeded in making me like Watchmen for a moment (my "damn you for being warped charicatures of Golden Age heroes I like, you stupid Ultimates-for-the-JSA comic" wavers when faced with my bulletproof kink of fucked up people being slightly less fucked up when they're together, especially when it's well written). Rorshach's massive fucked-up-ness is eventually going to suck me into the fic for that fandom despite Alan Moore's best efforts. I can tell already.
