First Post...Fanart!
So I've been lurking like a creeper for months now, and I have only really commented here and there.
I promised I would draw something, and then school started, then I got used to it but then I needed to do my stupid Animation Portfolio and I never wanted to draw ever again..for like a week anyway.
Then I got really productive and when I do I can't sleep, so here is all the (good) art I did in about 24 hours.
Warning, Sleep Deprived rambling! Just look at the colourful pictures if you want.
I was listen to some uplifting songs and I started thinking of this pairing, mostly Tony though and really wanted to draw him happy.
Like not Sleepy-happy or Sad-but-still-happy or sexy-happy or devious-happy, just happy (Not Hogan). Hard to do and not make him look like a Stepford/Slasher Smiler or have it look fake on him.
He looks kinda girly, sorry about that. And for some reason I tend to to draw people and things kinda shiny.
It also made me sad 'cause when's the last time he would be that happy? In my mind he's smiling at Steve.
The I had to draw Steve to be fair so here is Steve with an emotion only Tony really brings out of him.
Steve! You are so big you do not fit into the page.
It's, I-don't-know-what-you-are-talking-about-but-I-like-listening-and-am-amused-anyway type of emotion/expression or I'd-be-bored-if-it-wasn't-you. Tony is probable babbling on about his armor or tech.
Why does it feel like there would be like 80's theme music and credits rolling over these? IDK

(for those that do not want to click, a Hair Tax is feeling someones head after a hair cut, especially a buzz cut.)
In my mind Steve has a Buzz cut most of the time or whatever I have drawn. And I can vouch for the awesomeness of a fresh Buzz cut texture. And Tony is a very tactile person in my mind so of course he would charge the "Hair Tax".
Totally not just an excuse to touch Steve Y/N?
And Captain America always pays his taxes. Also, I imagine Tony has ambushed him in his collection of said taxes. I also imagine it would be dangerous to jump Captain America but 1. Tony trusts him not to karate/judo flip him into a wall 2. Tony is a little Sleepy!Out of it and 3. Steve totally heard him coming and let him and they both know it.Also migt be a little out of character because Tony'd just grope him as a hello first or something.
Idk if I like Tony as much in this one (he is a little off my mental model of him but whatever) and Steve looks a little young. Also they are still shiny!And I wanted to make them not look stoned and out on something, but I think I failed in that endevore.
I hope I post more soon! You never know with me though, and I still have a month or so of school left. I should also go to sleep soon, else I start to draw again.
