I love the way you have described this tentative relationship, how they're both unsure now and feeling each other out--and Steve's "Probably I do" is just so awesome; that little bit just makes my heart go all aflutter. It's just perfectly awkward and not saccharine, and it hits all the right notes. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this; it is amazing and lovely.
