you can't convince me this is the darker eviler canon. Not with 616 canon currently called Dark Reign, Steve being dead, Tony being stupid, and Jan being dead, and Hank being crazy and OMG GAH.

Someone hasn't been paying attention to Ultimatum and their gratuitous blood spray and body count (Really, what's the tally now? Beast, Dazzler, Nightcrawler(?), Xavier, Wasp, Giant-Man, Blob, Strange, and Angel have all been offed in horribly disgusting ways on panel, and Thor got offed, but he'll be coming back). And it's canon. Ultimate Avengers has already been confirmed as playing off it.
