Hmmm... Ultimates doesn't really tie into Ultimate Iron Man

Sorry to say. In Ultimates, Tony's mutation isn't discussed like that at all. I'd be surprised if Millar took up Scott Card's stuff, especially since Millar redesigned Ultimates Tony a couple of years before Card came on.
