Thanks so much *grins* The scene with Wanda's out-of-control chaos magic was really fun to write, if difficult -- trying to get Carol's reactions in without the whole thing derailing into "instead of being afraid for everyone's lives, I will now have inner monologues about my love life."
And we couldn't kill Pietro -- we'd been so mean to all the characters thus far that we just couldn't go through with it. He's not always an easy character to like, but with Vision deactivated he's the only family Wanda has left in this 'verse.
The happy Steve/Nick/Sam reunion made me laugh.
Steve spent ages inwardly worried that he'd sent Sam outside the bubble to die, and Sam spent all that time running around with Fury afraid that something terrible might have happened to the Avengers inside the city, so they're probably both hugely relieved to see/hear one another.
