Yeah Steve has apologised for being wrong, or erring on the side of (mis) judgement. I do remember his dealings with Sam (sorry, I'm still trying to catch up on 616 Steve canon and still on volume 1. Someone save me) and him wanting to understand various issues and will acknowledge his error.
There was an episode where he and Tony got their signals mixed up (was it armour wars?) and when the men exchanged apologies, he's all, sorry and doesn't make a big deal out of it, but is sincere. Steve tends to apologise in a 'guy' way though. Like, he'll go, "About X and Y, probably I should have done it that way. I'll do better next time." *bracing slap on shoulder* or *hand shake*
Erm, Reed Richards tends to speak a tad more formal than how you write him there ('blows up'). He's very much a scientist, and on this side of rigid sometimes, especially if he thinks he's right, he gets all... huffy.
