Title: From One Nightmare To Another, Awake
Fandom: Marvel
Pairings: Currently one-sided Steve/Tony of the worried fretting sort.
Rating: PG-13
Universe: 616, post-Dark Reign
Timeline: Set about two months after Hallucinations Just Sleeping
Note: Yeah, I know, I said no part two. Thank the plotbunnies for being annoying. Currently, I have this and either one or two more chapters in the works, depending on how I decide to break things up. Also, for all it's tinkly-music-boxy-type stuff, Detektivbyran makes for surprisingly good angst-writing-music.
Summary: "Short of the fact that he'll do what's necessary, I'm not sure of anything," he admitted. Part of him wanted to go. Either to follow Iron Man and make sure there was as little strife as possible, or maybe to see Jan for reasons he couldn't explain. But Hank had promised to keep an eye on things, and Jan was safe and being watched over, and he needed to stay for battle planning. "Still, it's the best thing we can get right now."
