Exactly! I've always liked it when actors and directors actually like the orginal work/character that they're trying to reproduce. It produces better work in my opinion. (Also that clip up there equals EPIC WIN. Seriously I was speechless for a few moments in awe and then I couldn't stop laughing like a dork.) Your above comment also kind of makes me want to write a Jack Harkness/Tony Stark fic (with a healthy dose of possesive! or jealous!Steve)...

As for if he can do it, well he certainly has the confidence down, but who knows if he could really bring out the true essence of Captain America.
