Armored Adventures Tony is not a slacker, he's just not taking school seriously.
In his position, I wouldn't either. He's been home-schooled his entire life, he was already effectively helping his father out with the family business, actually IN the workforce... equals in talent and mutual respect, if not power and experience.
And now he's told to pretend to be a kid again.
It's... demotion. Especially coupled with the fact that Stane (and everyone else) TOLD him to go to school, I'm surprised he didn't rebel more strongly.
Tony works.
He's a costumed hero, and he's an inventor. His academic education level probably passed college freshman level at least two years AGO, so school is kind of a joke from that angle (though girls seem to have potential).
But Tony works on heroing, inventing things and repairing his armor hard enough to actually fall asleep IN his armor at one point.
Tony works.
He just sees school as more of a cover identity and dating service.
