Clearly, the entire problem is the existence of anything ever written by Fraction that contains Tony Stark.

Marvel should just retcon all of it out of existence and pretend Fraction has never been employed by Marvel in any capacity, except for a few months in 2007 to work on Immortal Iron Fist. Problem solved.

In fact, a lot of problems would be solved that way.
