how you reinforced what a careful balancing act Natasha's personal and private life is, her being a woman in the positions she's in.
I think women CEO's do get short thrift at times. There aren't many up there, and the ones who are there - well, the world seems to draw their eye to the dodgy ones (like the former CEO of Hewlett Packard). In addition, Natasha Stark would be attractive, which would be a knock against her especially with her dating history, and relationship with Captain America there. So it's one of these things that would have been dishonest not to speak about or even touch on, anyway.
I love how utterly pragmatic Tasha comes across when she (basically) pops the question, and it's not that it's a cover exactly, but it's not NOT about them, either. Because how could it not be :)
Steve didn't see it, the big lug. *gives him a light thump on the shoulder* but I do read Natasha as being cagey as Tony Stark, if not even more so because she's a woman in a man's world and the rest of it.
the denouement makes me terribly hopeful for Cap and Iron Maiden, in their personal as much as their political lives <3
Heh, if nothing else, they'll keep on trying.
Yeah, Reed is a smug git. He didn't lose anything at all.
Hey, so glad you liked!
