I always like fics like this. The understated, the fact that the writer has enough discipline not to force the issue, just to hang back and let the characters and their actions do all the heavy lifting, leaving wonder behind.

Just, oh, at Steve's soreness over past transgressions (Tony? Hiding your identity from your colleagues? This is what is referred to over in s_d as a dick move, Stark). Yes to Steve appreciating the fact that Tony does engage in something creative, and at the end, when Tony plays a song from Steve's time? Yeah, that was pretty nifty, the whole 'things left unsaid' bit, and them doing a sing a long!
