More plot ideas, sorry
I swear, I get so many good ideas and yet no inspiration to actually write them. Cross-posted to my own journal and really just copy-pasted.
1) Richboy Superhero Poker Night
- All the super-rich superheros from DC and Marvel know their fellow rich superhero's secret identities, so every so often they get together and play cards (Like the authors on Castle,) and joke and tell stories without worrying about secret identities or powers or whatever. Anyone writing this should include Tony Stark (Iron Man), Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), Warren Worthington III (Angel), Britt Reid (the Green Hornet), and Bruce Wayne (Batman). Bonus points if Tony invites Steve to one of the gatherings, and everyone else assumes Boyfriends, because it's really SO obvious, and Tony and Steve are clueless.
2) More Steve/Tony fluff that scars Peter for life.
- not really a plot idea, just a statement that says the world needs more Steve/Tony uber-sweet gentle slash fluff, preferably that Spiderman walks in on, because for some reason, I like having Peter scarred for life. Poor Peter.
3) And now, for the Doozy: Steve Rogers has a phobia of dark water. Looooong plot details to follow, because this was a crazy-ass dream.
- The short version: Steve nearly drowns in a rain-swollen river one night because of a panic attack, because he's had a dark water phobia ever since the ice. Tony saves him and there is comforting.
The long version, aka What Crack Was I On When I Dreamed This? :
Steve Rogers is an excellent swimmer, but one night, for some reason, he and Foggy Nelson (I know, wtf?) are out in the dark back roads of New York State forests (idk) driving along. It has been raining hard, and the roads are wet, but the rain has stopped for the time being. As they cross a bridge, a woman in white/a ghostly apparition appears, causing them to loose control of the car and drive off the road into a canal/stream swollen with rainwater and moving very fast. The apparition/water spirit ghost (irdk) tries to seduce/lure Steve into drowning and joining her in the afterlife, and he of course refuses, and starts swimming upstream. But the current is very fast and it's very dark and the water-ghost is clawing at his clothes and trying to yank him under. Now, even though he's a good swimmer, he's had subconcious phobias of dark water ever since the ice, and really starts panicking, so by the time he manages to thrash his way free of the ghost and swim far enough to be able to use his communicator, all he can really gasp out is a choked, watery, gasping "Help, please, the river-" before he's yanked back under. (I have no idea where Foggy has gone during this, maybe he was a ghost too.) Anyways, Tony gets the call and is somehow conveniently already out looking for the crashed car (onStar alert service or sommit similar?) in the Iron Man armor, so he finds Steve and pulls him out. Steve gets to choke and gasp for breath between the lakeful of water he swallowed and the panic attack of being nearly-drowned, and Tony gets to sooth him till he stops shaking.
I had one more plot idea, but it was more a general Green Hornet/Marvel crossover than a Steve/Tony idea, so I didn't include it.
EDIT: I lied, I had two more plot ideas, and I just remembered the one I forgot.
4) Unexpected Immortality from Extremise and Serum
- Unknown at the time, but rapidly becoming obvious as time passes, the minor healing factors of both the Super Soldier Serum and Extremise in Steve and Tony become not-so-minor, essentially halting their aging like Logan.
